2007 Maitre Renard Pinot Noir

Semi translucent crimson mauve colour with mauve hue. The nose displays aromas of spice, cherry and earth. The palate is quite dry with flavours of spice and cherry followed by some earthy mineral characters. Dryish slightly chalky tannins with aftertaste of spice, cherry and earth. Some wine lovers used to drinking New Zealand & Australian Pinot Noir may find this wine to be a little too dry for their tastes.
