Mouthfilling palate with nuances of liquorice, spice, vanilla, white pepper and plum with toasted oak back palate. The sensation is of an elegant wine loaded with flavour whilst still remaining full bodied. Velvet tannin structure. aftertaste of liquorice, plum, vanilla and confectionary.

Incredibly vibrant colour; truly cool-grown black fruits and spice, notably cinnamon and clove; the palate is generous and layered with terrific acidity framing the luscious fruit on offer and silky fine tannins sustain a very long finish. Screwcap. 14.5% alc.  Drink 2016   Date Tasted Jan 09
