2007 Kilikanoon Morts Block Riesling

Bright straw colour. Top notes of honey, lime and tropical fruits. On the palate flavours of lime and lemon over a layer of tropical fruit. Clean acid finish with honey and a nutty sherbert note in the background. Aftertaste of honey and lime.

First Tasted, 24/09/2007: A crisp assertive Riesling. Bright pale straw colour with water like hue. Top note of lime, followed by lemon, orange blossom and tropical fruit. The lemon flavours are quite pronounced leaving the lime in the background. Crisp acid backbone. Long lemon aftertaste.
