2007 Jip Jip Rocks Shiraz

Very deep crimson colour with crimson hue. Top note of vanilla followed by confectionary, cedar and spice. The palate has good lift, showing ripe fruit flavours with a hint of liquorice allsorts. The palate structure is tight. Flavours of liquorice, mocha and stewed fruit emerge over a dry chalky tannin background. Aftertaste of mocha and stewed fruit with dry tannins persisting.
