2007 Frankland Estate Isolation Ridge Vineyard Shiraz

Opaque black crimson colour with black crimson hue. Perfumed aromas of blackberry, plum, liquorice allsorts and confectionary. The palate is concentrated but tightly knit delivering flavours of inky blackberry and liquorice with spice and blackpepper characters persisting on the back palate. Dry, fine grained tannins but balanced. Long aftertaste of spice, blackpepper and blackberry.
An excellent example of a Western Australian Shiraz combining structure, power and depth.
