2007 Diemersfontein Carpe Diem Pinotage

Deep dark black red colour with deep dark red hue. The nose is quite aromatic with lifted aromas of liquorice and dark plum followed by some chocolate and a hint of spice as an end note. Rich, fleshy palate flavours of blackberry and dark plum followed by some dark chocolate and liquorice with a spicy back palate. Fine grained, well integrated tannins with long aftertaste of blackberry, dark plum, liquorice and spice.
