2007 De Lisio Quaterback Dry Red

The Quarterback is composed of 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 27% Merlot, 26% Shiraz and 17% Grenache. The wine is showing considerable development. Very deep brick red colour with brick red hue. Aroma of stewed fruit, followed by leather, spice and cedar. The palate is developed, with the fruit holding up. Flavours of stewed fruit, new leather, cedar and spice. Fine grained tannins. Very spicy back palate. Aftertaste of leather, cedar, stewed fruit and spice.
