Semi translucent crimson colour with crimson mauve hue. Lifted nose showing good varietal character. Top note of strawberry followed by spice and cherry delivering a perfumed sniff. The palate flavours are on the light side. Subtle flavours of stewed cherry and spice. Fine grained tannins. Cherry and spice aftertaste. There is little power. Spicy aftertaste. A commercial style.
