2007 d'Arenberg The Laughing Magpie Shiraz Viognier

Very deep black crimson colour with mauve hue. Lifted nose of ripe plums, vanilla, dried apricot and spice, followed by a hint of liquorice allsorts. The palate delivers generous ripe fruit flavours of plum and liquorice followed by apricot, spice and stewed fruit. Fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of dried apricots, stewed fruit and liquorice.
