Opaque black purple colour – totally saturated. Aromas of cedar, cassis, spice and cigar box. The palate is very tight with a firm, dry, tannin structure. Flavours of blackcurrant, violet infusions, cedar, new leather and spice showing slightly more concentration and structure than the Brookman. Long aftertaste of blackcurrant, spice and new leather. A concentrated but tightly knit Cabernet.
Cellar 8-10 years (2017-2019)
Alc 14.5%

Other Reviews….
The 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon Sandown is similarly styled. Spicy black fruit aromas mingle with mineral and floral notes leading to a medium to full-bodied wine packed with flavor. It will require 4-6 years to fully unwind but the balance is there for a graceful evolution.
