Deep purple mauve colour with purple mauve hue. Lifted aromas of ripe raspberry, black cherry, spice and confectionary. This is the most concentrated of the 2007 Grenaches delivering flavours of dark raspberry, blackberry, confectionary and liquorice allsorts followed by some blackpepper on the back palate. Superb concentration and depth with excellent structure. Firm fine grained, dryish tannins but in balance. Very long dark raspberry, liquorice allsorts, confectionary and blackpepper aftertaste.

Alc 14.5%

Other Reviews….
The most puzzling wine in this collection is the 2007 Grenache Romas. Reticent on the nose and totally closed on the palate, it has a hard, tannic finish. Judgment reserved.
