2007 Chateau Mont-Redon Chateauneuf du Pape (375ml)

Deep dark crimson red mauve colour with crimson mauve hue. Aromas of dark cherry and liquorice followed by some earthy meaty ink like characters. Inky raspberry and liquorice palate flavours are followed by a spicy meaty blackpepper back palate. Fine grained, slightly dryish tannins but in balance. Aftertaste of spice, liquorice, earth and blackpepper.
