2007 Bass Phillip Estate Chardonnay

Bright pale gold colour with straw hue. Top note of honey, followed by honeycomb, yeast lees and melon. The palate displays flavours of melon, biscuit, yeast lees and hazelnut. Moderate length and depth. Very subdued palate with flavours of melon and biscuit with a hint of background citrus. Clean acid finish. Allow a few years in the cellar to gain complexity.
