Opaque deep purple crimson red colour. The nose displays good intensity with aromas of dark cherries, blackcurrant, blackberry and spice with a touch of earth and toast in the background. The palate comes across as a little hard and dry. Good weight with flavours of dark cherry and spice quickly dissipating. Short aftertaste with dry lingering tannins.

Other Reviews….
The 2007 Malbec was aged for 9 months in French and American oak, 25% new. It offers layers of black cherry fruit, good weight on the palate, and a pure, fruit-filled finish. It can be enjoyed over the next 3-4 years.
