Notes from Adelphi... Creamy butterscotch on the nose with Werthers Original toffees, vanilla ice cream, then honey, syrup sponge, ladies fingers (trifle sponges), and cherry flavour boiled sweets. Increased sponge notes in development and a little water introduces a cereal note of fresh bread dough. Sweet, jammy, syrup sponge, frangipane and Bakewell tart on the palate, with an aftertaste of milk chocolate and almonds (Toblerone).
