Notes from the bottlers... Deep amber with copper lights, short beading. Nose drying. European oak. Christmas cake, dosed with Armagnac, candied orange peel, Highland toffee, on a base of sanded hardwood. Brandy butter in the development. A drop of water reduces the aroma. A rich, sweet taste, drying with walnuts and pepper in the aftertaste. Little change at reduced strength, but drier. A long warming finish. 63.9% Alc./Vol.
