2007 2 Mates Shiraz

Opaque black crimson red colour with black crimson hue. The nose is quite perfumed with aromas of mocha, liquorice allsorts, blackberry and confectionary. Opulent and voluptuous palate flavours of liquorice allsorts, blackberry, very ripe plum and vanilla followed by some confectionary, spice and blackpepper on the back palate. Soft velvet like tannin structure with aftertaste of liquorice, confectionary and blackpepper. A big fleshy McLaren Vale Shiraz.
