2006 Yelland & Papps Old Vine Grenache

This vineyard was planted in the early 1960’s on the outskirts of Greenock. The wines were made in the traditional manner – using open fermenters and basket press.
Medium body – crimson colour with crimson mauve hue. Lifted nose of raspberry and spice followed by a hint of milk chocolate. Fine grained tannins – excellent balance. Aftertaste of milk chocolate, ripe raspberry and spice.
Cellar 3-4 years (2011-2012)
