2006 Yalumba Y Series Viognier

Bright pale straw colour  with water like hue. Top note of apricot and spice, showing good lift. Tropical fruit and spice end note. The palate displays good varietal character. Apricot and tropical fruit flavours are evident. Moderate length. Apricot and spice aftertaste. Soft acid finish.

First tasted, October 2006:
Bright pale straw colour with green hue. Delicate nose of dried apricots and tropical fruit. The palate flavours are generous with tropical fruit and apricot emerging, followed by a hint of mango. Clean acid finish. Aftertaste of spice and tropical fruit.
