2006 Yalumba Y Series Riesling

The 2006 Riesling is no exception and we consider it an absolute bargain! Bright pale straw colour with delicate green tinge. The nose is a total surprise delivering aromatics that Rieslings at twice the price often fail to deliver.  Intense lime top note, followed by spice and tropical fruit. The palate displays excellent weight and depth of flavour. Flavours of lime, tropical fruit, mango and citrus fill the mouth. There is a touch of residual sweetness that enhances the palate. Long aftertaste of lime, tropical fruit and mango, with clean, crisp acid finish.
