This wine is holding up well. It was aged for 10 months in French oak hogsheads. Medium body. Bright crimson colour with crimson hue. Complex nose of raspberry, liquorice, spice, plum and vanilla. The palate remains a touch tight. Flavours of plum, raspberry, liquorice, spice, plum and vanilla. Back palate flavours of spice and black pepper. Fine chalky tannins. Warm, spicy aftertaste emerges.
