2006 Stud Farm Road Heathcote Shiraz

Produced from a blend of 97% Shiraz and 3% Viognier, this wine was matured for 18 months in a combination of French & American oak.

Opaque black crimson colour with black crimson hue. The nose is somewhat subdued at first displaying aromas of liquorice allsorts, plum and confectionary. The palate displays much more intensity than the nose. Full bodied with excellent richness. Ripe joosy flavours of liquorice allsorts, blackberry, confectionary and spice with some black pepper emerging on the back palate. Fine grained well integrated tannin structure with long liquorice allsorts, spice and pepper aftertaste.
