2006 S. C. Pannell Pronto Grenache Shiraz Touriga

The Grenache component of the wine has been sourced from 65 year old vines. Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson mauve hue. Top note of raspberry followed by spice and liquorice, delivering a perfumed sniff. On the palate flavours of raspberry and spice followed by a touch of confectionary. Fine grained tannins. Dryish palate. The back end of this wine is much more tightly structured than the nose cares to deliver.
