2006 Penny's Hill Red Dot Shiraz Viognier

This is an impressive blend of 95% Shiraz and 5% Viognier.
Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Perfumed top note of apricot followed by liquorice, vanilla and spice. The palate has good weight with flavours of ripe dried apricots, overlaid with ripe plum, chocolate and liquorice. Fine grained tannins. Dried apricot aftertaste.
