Winemaker Harry Friend has produced an excellent Pinot.

Wonderful crimson colour with crimson hue – the colour is so good the wine could easily be mistaken for a cool climate Shiraz. Medium body. Top note of cherry, followed by spice and violets, delivering a perfumed sniff and showing strong varietal character. Flavours of cherry, plum, ripe strawberry and liquorice. Moderate power wave. The wine displays very good length and persistence. Fine grained tannins. Very long aftertaste of cherry and liquorice.
