2006 Mountadam The Red Merlot Cabernet Sauvignon Shiraz Cabernet Franc

This excellent, refined red is comprised of a blend of 55% Merlot, 32% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Shiraz and 3% Cabernet Franc.
Medium body, crimson colour with crimson hue. Perfumed nose with top note of cedar and violets followed by a hint of truffle and leather. The palate is elegant, showing excellent refinement with flavours of plum, vanilla, mulberry and cedar. Excellent length and depth – perfect balance. Long aftertaste of cedar, mulberry, spice and white pepper.
