2006 Mon Redon Cotes du Rhone

Excellent colour – near opaque dark crimson red colour with crimson mauve hue. The nose is a little subdued eventually revealing aromas of black cherry, plum, spice and liquorice with a hint of confectionary as an end note. The palate is quite dry and displays an elegant flavour profile. Light to medium body with flavours of dark cherry, liquorice, new saddle leather, earth and spice. Soft fine grained, slightly dry tannins with aftertaste of dark cherry, leather and earth.
