2006 Maverick Twins Grenache Shiraz Mourvedre

This wine is made up from a blend of 70% Grenache, 22% Shiraz and 8% Mourvedre. Deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Medium body. Perfumed nose with top note of raspberry, truffle, earth, new leather and spice. Excellent length and weight with flavours of raspberry, spice, liquorice and white pepper. Fine grained tannins, perfect balance. Long aftertaste of raspberry, confectionary and spice.
