2006 Marcus Hill Vineyard Pinot Noir

Translucent crimson brick red colour with mauve brick red hue. Lifted notes of ripe cherry, plum and anise followed by a touch of cedar. Good palate weight with flavours of dark cherry, spice and anise with some cedar and pepper characters on the back palate. Fine grained tannins. Good power wave with aftertaste of spice, dark cherry and plum. A well made spicy Pinot Noir.
Drink now or cellar a further 1-2 years (2009-2011)
