2006 Lillydale Estate Chardonnay

Bright straw colour with water like hue. Top note of yeast lees, followed by cashew and biscuit with a butterscotch end note, showing strong barrel ferment character. The palate flavours are lighter than expected from the nose. Light lees flavours over tropical fruit and spice with delicate cashew background. Clean finish. Aftertaste of yeast lees and citrus.
