2006 Landhaus Estate Shiraz Mourvedre

This wine is composed of a blend of 50% Shiraz and 50% Mourvedre, from 70-100 year old vines.
Bright crimson colour with crimson hue. Medium body. Top note of liquorice, followed by spice and confectionary with end notes of violets, raspberry and plum. The palate is shorter than expected, with flavours of spice, plum and stewed fruit. Fine dryish, slightly chalky tannins. Aftertaste of spice and plum.
