2006 Kaesler Stonehorse Shiraz

Opaque black crimson colour with black purple hue, showing excellent cling. Top note of vanilla, fresh liquorice strip, ripe blackberry and plum. The palate displays flavours of mocha on the back palate over laid with blackberry, spice and liquorice. Moderate length – the wine lacks the length and persistence promised by the nose. Very spicy aftertaste.
