Produced from a blend of 44% Grenache, 32% Shiraz and 19% Mourvedre, the Grenache and Mourvedre components were sourced from 70 year old vineyards and the Shiraz from 43 & 105 year old blocks.

Deep purple red colour with purple mauve hue – excellent colour saturation for a blend of this type. Aromas of ripe plum and freshly crushed raspberry followed by liquorice and spice becoming quite perfumed. Full bodied and concentrated palate with flavours of liquorice, blackberry, blackpepper and spice. Fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of spice, pepper and ripe raspberry but without the length and power that previous vintages of this wine have delivered.
Cellar 3-4 years (2012-2013)
Alc/Vol: 16.0%
