Firts Tasted 29th May 2009:
A well made Cabernet blend. Medium body, deep crimson colour with crimson hue. Top note of plum followed by spice, black currant and a hint of cassis. The palate displays flavours of cedar and blackcurrant over a layer of plum and stewed fruit, followed by spice and nuances of liquorice. Fine grained dryish tannins. Aftertaste of cassis and stewed fruit.
Cellar 2-3 years (2011-2012)
90 Points Retasted 19th May 2010:
Deep dark crimson red colour with crimson mauve hue. Aromas of tobacco, cedar, blackcurrant and violets. The palate displays flavours of blackcurrant, mulberry, spice and cedar. Fine grained tannins showing good integration with aftertaste of blackcurrant, mulberry and tobacco. A very well made blend from what was considered a difficult vintage in Margaret River displaying none of the green hard edges evidenced in many other 2006 WA Cabernets.
Drink now or cellar a further 2 years (2010-2012)
