Made from a blend of 68% Viognier and 32% Pinot Gris, winemaker Ben Glaetzer has employed a number of techniques to gain maximum complexity in the blend. Both varieties were vinified separately, with three harvest dates of the components to provide contrasting, compatible ripeness flavours. The Viognier was crushed, chilled and pressed immediately, whilst the Pinot Gris was allowed a short period of skin contact to enhance the palate structure.

Bright straw colour with pale straw hue. The nose is quite pronounced with strong dried apricot and exotic tropical fruit aroma followed by a spicy end note. The palate has good weight and mouthfeel – strong dried apricot flavours over tropical fruit and mango. Generous flavour profile. Clean acid finish. Long tropical fruit and dried apricot aftertaste.
