Semi translucent crimson colour with mauve hue. Lifted nose of blackberry, spice and plum delivering a perfumed lift. The palate has excellent depth of flavour and quite distinctive varietal character. Flavours of cherry, plum, spice and liquorice on the palate are supported by a moderately long power wave. Fine grained tannins. Long aftertaste of spice and plum.
