2006 Galli Estate Artigiano Block 2 Shiraz

A wine that lacks depth and concentration, missing that much sought after ‘Heathcote’ X factor. Medium body, crimson colour with mauve hue. Aroma of plum, spice, violets and blackberry. The palate flavour profile is relatively light with flavours of plum, spice, cedar and vanilla evident. The wine lacks the richness that is expected of top Shiraz from Heathcote. Fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of cedar, vanilla and spice.
