2006 Freycinet Vineyard Chardonnay

A restrained style reminiscent of fine white burgundy. Bright pale straw colour with water like hue and green tinge. Top note of yeast lees, followed by light cashew and biscuit, showing delicate barrel ferment character. The palate displays flavours of lemon over a hint of melon supported by a crisp acid backbone. Delicate biscuit and melon aftertaste.
