2006 E.Guigal Cotes Du Rhone

Deep crimson red mauve colour with crimson mauve hue. The nose displays good perfumed lift with aromas of black cherry, raspberry and spice followed by some leather overtones. Medium bodied showing good weight for it’s varietal type. Flavours of dark raspberry, blackberry, spice and earth with a leathery overlay. Fine grained slightly dryish tannins with long aftertaste of dark raspberry, spice, blackpepper and leather.
Cellar 3-4 years (2013-2014).
