2006 Domaine Taupenot Merme Bourgogne Pinot Noir

Semi translucent mauve purple colour with mauve purple hue. Top note of cherry followed by spice, strawberry and anise. The palate displays fine dryish tannins with strawberry and cherry flavours. The dry chalky tannins run well into the aftertaste.

Medium body, semi translucent crimson mauve colour with mauve hue. Perfumed nose – lifted top note of strawberry and spice followed by a hint of violet and light game end note. Delicate palate flavours of truffle, cherry and strawberry. Fine grained tannins, dryish but balanced. Earthy strawberry aftertaste.
