2006 Domaine Chandon Barrel Selection Chardonnay

Bright straw colour with water like hue. Top note of yeast lees, followed by honeycomb with hints of biscuit and hazelnut showing good barrel ferment character. The palate is quite spicy with flavours of honey, a hint of melon, yeast lees and hazelnut evident. Clean acid finish. Aftertaste of yeast lees and hazelnut.
