2006 David Hook The Gorge Shiraz

Very deep almost opaque crimson purple colour with crimson purple hue showing excellent cling. Top note of new leather, mint and earth. The palate delivers some earthy old fashioned palate flavours – a touch of sweaty saddle. Flavours of plum and spice over a slightly chalky tannin background. Aftertaste of earth leather and plum.
