2006 Cullen Margaret River White

The blend is composed of 50% Sauvignon Blanc, 40% Semillon and 10% Chardonnay. The grapes have been biodynamically grown from the Cullen and Mangan vineyard.
Bright straw colour with pale straw hue. Unripe gooseberry and tropical fruit notes, followed by a grassy herbaceous end note. The unripe gooseberries control the palate over a grassy herbaceous background. The Chardonnay component seems lost in the blend, delivering fullness of body. Crisp acid finish. Aftertaste of unripe gooseberry. A crisp dry white.
