2006 Coriole Sangiovese

Coriole was the first vineyard to plant Sangiovese in Australia. Bright crimson mauve colour with crimson mauve hue. Top note of dark cherry followed by spice and a hint of violet. On the palate, flavours of spice, cherry and confectionary. Fine grained dry tannins, with a slightly chalky aftertaste, followed by stewed fruit.
