2006 Clos Clare Cemetary Block Shiraz

This wine has been produced from 15 year old vines. Deep opaque purple crimson colour. The nose is at first quite closed only slowly yielding aromas of dark plum, liquorice, spice and pepper. The palate displays good weight but is tightly knit and needs time to evolve. Flavours of plum, blackberry, blackpepper and spice. Fine grained dryish tannins with long liquorice, pepper and spice aftertaste.
Cellar 5-6 years.
