A Classic McLaren Vale Red.

The colour of this wine is a total saturate of black purple with black purple hue. The nose is impressive with superb notes of violet, blackberry, ripe plum, dark cherries and vanilla. The palate is voluptuous – an explosion of flavour – black pepper, plum, dark cherries and spice over a smoky oak and liquorice background. Very fine tannins, perfect balance. Very long aftertaste of liquorice, spice and black pepper.

Other Reviews…
Velvety and terrifically focused, this delivers a laser beam of blueberry, boysenberry and plum, with hints of allspice and pepper that mingle effortlessly as they come shooting across a bed of very fine-grained tannins. Lingers enticingly for a long, long finish. Drink now through 2020.

The 2006 Syrah Liandra Vineyard is opaque purple with aromas of smoke, bacon, blackberry, and cassis. It is precocious and will provide pleasure early on.
