2006 Cat Amongst the Pigeons Cat Walk Cabernet Sauvignon

An excellent example of ripe Cabernet.

Opaque black crimson colour with black mauve hue. Perfumed nose with blackcurrant top note with end notes of cinnamon, spice and violets. The palate displays impressive weight and mouthfeel with generous flavours of spice, liquorice allsorts, vanilla and blackcurrant. The structure is almost joosy which is a bit of a surprise for Cabernet. Perfect balance. Very long aftertaste of spice and cassis.
