2006 Cape Barren Native Goose Shiraz

Deep crimson colour with deep crimson mauve hue. Lifted nose with top notes of cedar, blackberry, vanilla and plum with a hint of liquorice as an end note. There is a sense of elegance with this wine, showing varietal flavour without the impact of typical McLaren Vale joosiness. Flavours of vanilla, confectionary and blood plum. Fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of blood plum, spice and white pepper.
