2006 Adelphi Breath of Speyside 10 Year Old Cask Strength Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml)

Distilled in 2006 and bottled in 2017, the provenance of this 10 year old is not disclosed.

Tasting note: Polished copper-penny colour. Dryish / medium fresh aromas of balsa wood, lanolin, rolling tobacco and trace eucalyptus. Five minutes adds sweeter notes of dark chocolate and straw bail. Lots of wool-shed notes with some underlying dark chocolate. Surprisingly peaty, like a smokey Benriach. Intensifies at the mid palate stage and doesn’t let up. Solid. 58.4% Alc./Vol. 541 bottles
