First Tasted, June 2007: Winemaker Sergio Carlei has used natural yeast, whole bunch pressing and extended whole berry maceration in making this wine.
Bright pale straw colour with water like hue. Top note of honeycomb, followed by cashew, hazelnut and yeast lees with a yellow peach end note. The palate flavours are subtle, with light ripe yellow peach and subtle oak flavours. Clean finish. Aftertaste of light lees. A well made wine but without power or length.
